The BIG Lottery Fund (BIG) Scotland office is currently working hard to develop a range of new funding opportunities, which it will launch next year. It has already heard the message that stakeholders want BIG Scotland to give clear decisions early in the process to reduce the number of unsuccessful applicants, but it also acknowledges that sometimes it hasn't made itself clear about what it needs to hear from applicants.
With this in mind, BIG Scotland would like to hear people's feedback on the application materials it used last time around, and it application processes in general. In particular it wants to hear peoples thoughts on:
- What were the strengths of the way BIG works compared to other funders?
- What best practice can we copy from elsew here?
- In terms of our application form, were there any questions which were unclear, or any parts where we could improve our guidance?
- What sort of questions would help us to understand your project better?
- Which questions didn't help you communicate your project to us?
If you are interested in providing feedback, you can do so at the BIG blog
